Your Open Water Series Membership Explained:

Welcome to the Swimming WA Open Water Swimming Series. You’re here because you’re up for the challenge, so we want to make the journey one to remember. There are many options available to the Open Water Swimming Series Member.

Firstly you need to consider whether you have the capacity to swim a distance in open water.
Training will help and you can test yourself in the pool, but the real challenge comes in the form of perhaps a 500m, ocean swim?

Seven of our rounds offer our popular five distance courses 500 metres, 1.25km, 2.5km and 5km.  Rockingham, Mullaloo and Sorrento Rounds include these distance plus our step-up 7.5km distance and our 10km endurance distance (Rottnest Channel Swim and the Port to Pub Qualifying distance).

This season our Shorehaven Round on December 12 will provide step-up distances of 400m, 1km, 2km and 4km for swimmers who want to try to push themselves to the next level but not ready for the full jump just yet.
